This describes how BRIEF. ("we") handles information when you use the BRIEF mobile apps and related services at briefvocal.com. Update the effective date below as you revise this document with counsel.

What we process

The app captures voice input and produces text output (Architect, Assistant, Ghostwriter). To do that we may process audio or transcripts on device and send transcript text to our servers for enrichment. Authentication may be provided through an identity vendor (for example Clerk). Purchases may be processed via platform billing and RevenueCat. We aim to minimize data collection to operating the product.

How we use information

Provide and improve the service, secure accounts, troubleshoot, comply with law, and enforce our terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

The product may rely on subprocessors chosen for infrastructure, authentication, AI processing, and payments. Their terms and privacy policies apply where relevant.

Retention and your choices

Retention depends on account status, legal obligations, and security needs. You may request access, correction, or deletion as described on our account deletion page.
